Hi

I own a Tiburon GT V6 2007, I just buy a Cold Air Intake from K&N, but at this time I don't have a lot of money to buy a new headers from DC Sports, I will buy at the end of year maybe. My question is like you all ready know my car have 3 Catalycs I need to know if I gut the Catalics will be a Improvement ??????????

Most likely it will improve but you may throw a code or something.

It'll be an improvement, but not worth the hassle. I remember one PR member saying 7-8 HP for gutting his cats out.

I'd honestly just leave them alone until you're ready to just replace them all together.

Its much easier if you have a separate y pipe to work with and a long @ss screwdriver. I got one thats like 2 feet long and its still not long enough.

BTW its just one main cat and the others are just flex pipes. Theres nothing to punch out for the smaller two. O and I havent finish, but just seeing how much crap/restriction is coming out, Im sure its gonna make a noticeable difference.

You also have the precats that are on the manifolds. They offer as much restriction as the main cat. You're gonna need to punch them all if you expect to see any gains.

just repalce them there is more to gain than just going cat less. The guys who have taken those stock headers out of their car's can tell you, it is a lot more than just the cats that are stealing Hp.
