Now I've been looking at a car for a DD and I've looked at many different vehicles, Now my cars that I looked at ranged from Brand new to used, after a few test drives (08 135i, 06 LS2 GTO, 09 RX-8, etc.) I think I decided on an BMW E36 M3 Coupe with a 5 speed 96-99 years(has to be OBDII). Now that I made the decision on the car I need help picking a color on a used one.
Should I do
1.Black, never owned a car this color might me interesting
2.White, same reason as the black but alot easier to keep clean.
3.Silver, Well the Tib is silver and my Wrangler is silver so I could get it to match my collection.

So I need help.
And just so I am Clear I am KEEPING my Tib it's paid for I am not selling it plus, she would get depressed if she found out and would try to take me with her.

well... IMO depends... are you planning on (if it matters to you) the exterior theme???

cuz i love the STI blue with gold rims, black on black, black with gold, silver with black rims, (rims and paint theme wise)

if anything the offset color is Black subtleties and maybe just Maybe an OEM CF Hood but I will be putting an M-stripe on the hood

I voted white. just cause white with a good tint and black wheels has always got my vote. hard to keep clean but looks sexy as hell when it is clean...

Black is second for me because a whole black out theme is sexy too but it really draws heat.

Silver... well from the silver BMWs i have seen not many wheels look good on it and its just not deep enough in color...

Black is by far the hardest color to keep clean. I didn't wash my white jetta for 3 years, and it only looked slightly better after a good wash lol.
white with gold wheels looks pretty good too IMO.

black all the way.. i love my tib hate the white now its getting close too winter white is the worst color too have... but black beamers are sweet

Oh, you decided on an e36 m3? In that case, now I'm just throwing this out there, get the purple, I know it sounds gay, but that color is badass.

Yeah but that purple is hard as hell to find, and the reason behind the E36 is well it's a good RWD Chassis plus it's a good looker, handles reasonably well has decent power and can be modded hell I doubt i could afford the S/C kit for the E36 it's only as much as the car it's $11,500 for the damn thing. But god does it make good power 435BHP up from 240BHP.

I vote black, because I'm not racist and I think its one of the most appealing BMW colors. Annette's looks good after all, and I just don't think white will keep the car from looking old one day. Too many silver BMW's around and even though black is one of the most popular colors on the "Ultimate" driving machines, it gives the M3 a bold look, that can only be bolder with suspension etc.

I like your move to the BMW's btw. The GTO seems too "straight line" while the RX8 would really only shine in the turns. The BMW is going to trash both of them on Hallett and at the auto-x. Just don't flake out on this one plz. I need a respectable car to mess with out on the bitch after I get an MP62 on the Miata (or a MOAB setup bwahaha!). :grin1:

yeah it won't be as fast as the Tib in a straight line, but it is a much better chassis for AutoX and road course use, plus I may actually be able to go to Hallet with the BMW club because well lets face it there is no Hyundai club. Plus the M3 is just a little bit on the expensive side to mod. So, yeah about that.

I voted white because although a freshly washed black car is dead sexy as stated before it's twice the work to clean my hatch than it is to clean my 07 Suburban which is Alpine White with tan and black leather interior. That's a pretty nice one you found though. I would buy it.

All my cars have been white, I like white but that is just my opinion, but the black M3 that you took pics of I like it, I like black cars just like everyone else says it takes alot of work to keep it clean.
