Hello , any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the dreaded Header CEL. I am wondering if anyone whos has been afflicted by this issue has found a solution.

1) Had autozone check the CEL and it is the cat inefficiency code.
2) Had a friend who works at a shop check it with his high tech computer reader and he verified it was the same code.
3) I attempted to create the non-fouler o2 mod, still getting the cel.

What are my options from here? Has anyone created an o2 simulator. I tried talking to titan motorsports here in orlando and they told me they custom fabricate electronic o2 simulators for the supras. Do we have anything like that. Is there a reflash that can be done to tell the computer to ignore the secondaries?

A friend told me to just take the CEL bulb out and be done with it, but I hate not knowing the status of my car. I would like to know if any problems do pop up.

Please HELP!!!

**EDIT**
I know this is going to come up so .....
1)The o2 have not been modified.
2)The bungs were put in after I got the headers. When I did get the bungs put in, the shop that did it welded them in right next to each other. I didnt know any better so I did not protest.

If you can, you might want to throw 2 antifoulers in each bung, that might back it out enough to clear the CEL

Wow, thats really cheap for a cat, every place I call wants 100+ for cats, the 3in high flow on my evo was 200 something with flanges and everything.

Well I was hoping I could stay away from more welding.... I do have a high flow cat. I guess ill just have to extend them... If anyone has created an o2 simulator successfully please let me know. Thanks

SSA headers, never a cel. My O2's are in all the factory bungs.

the cat i bought already has one 02 bung in it, all i had to do was weld one more bung..... i have a test pipe to replace it, but whats 3 hp loss when you have a shit load of power. i posted the part number in several threads. also.... except for the bung, there is no welding (required) if you just use clamps that cover the overlay where the pipes fit into each other.... imo, just take it to a shop and have flanges and a bung welded on for an easy in and out for the future.
