I was wondering if anyone had this, and if they had any issues (belt slip noise).

Also i know the ngm crank pully weighs .5 pounds less than the ark lightweight crank pully, which is alot better, but I'm curoius to know both ofthere reviews and opinions from ppl who have them on so I can get a better view of what I should get.

Had the NGM 7 inch crank pulley to increase boost. No problems at all. Never heard of anyone complaining about a crank pulley unless it was installed wrong, so I would just go for whatever is cheaper. The power difference between the two, if any, wouldnt justify spending $50 more or something like that

i wonder if anyone is getting that "belt slip" noise when they start there cars and for the first min. with an upgraded crank pully. Would our harmonic balancer be all f-krd up? Will the engine shake more?

no, you will be fine... if you get a smaller and it needs a smaller belt, then you would get slip, but otherwise there is no slip. this is kind of like asking which sri to buy, when they are very similar... lostdestiny14 explained it for you.

as for the solid pulley vs. stock w/balancer... not an issue, there are people running these (including me) for a long time and it is fine. you are worrying about nothing, so just pull the trigger on the one that you like the best, or best suits your price point.

does anyone know how the crank pulley comes out? I looked at it and it looks like you have to drop or raise the whole engine. Is this true?

No. No need to move the engine. Just a simple impact gun would help alot

awesome. thanks for the info.

a diy for the crankpully removal and installation is easy to find if you look for it.

just take the passenger wheel off, hyundai even cut away the plastic so you can get your extension in there

the oe pulley slips right off too, just wiggle it outta there. as far as hp gains , not too noticable, but it seems to rev the engine a little quicker
